You get home from work so late there’s no time to cook dinner, and if you don’t do some shopping soon, everyone in the family will be forced to live off oatmeal for the next week.

Here’s the good news: A personal chef can solve all your problems—or at least improve your chaotic life by 500 percent.

Maybe you need two or three family meals a week with enough for leftovers; maybe you’d like some home-baked snacks on top; maybe each week should be topped off with a gorgeous chocolate dessert. Whatever your needs, I am here to help get your life under control.

I take care of dinner during the week–from meal planning, to shopping, cooking, and cleaning. So when you come home at the end of a demanding day, you can relax to wholesome, home-cooked meals. I provide tasty and healthy meals that satisfy everyone in your family. Clients have told me that it’s not only the delicious meals, but also the time I have returned to their lives that they value most. My relationship with you starts with an in-home consultation. From there, we will customize a service plan tailored specifically for you. To schedule your free, in-home consultation for my personal chef service, please fill out the form below.

I also help people and businesses celebrate through catered events.  I have plans for all sized events; a romantic dinner for two, a corporate lunch or dinner for 100, a plated, or multi-coursed meal for 10.

A part-time chef can be surprisingly affordable once you’ve factored in the cost of restaurant meals, the value of your time, and all the food that gets purchased but never cooked. When you hire a chef, you’re buying a lot more than just the food. Some clients ask the chef to bring the necessary ingredients and prepare them on site (i.e., your kitchen). Others prefer having ready-to-eat meals (and cooking instructions) delivered to the door. In either case, you won’t have to do your own shopping–that’s part of the chef’s job.

Frequently Asked Questions:

Do you have liability insurance and ServSafe certification?

Ideally, a chef who’s going to work in your own home will have liability insurance, and ServSafe certification. I have both.

A chef who’s ServSafe certified has been trained in what it sounds like: safe food handling. The ServSafe Food Handler Program, which is administered by the National Restaurant Association, is more rigorous than many local programs. Though it’s not mandated in every state, it applies nationwide.

I am also a proud member of the Monterey Bay American Chef Federation and Les Dames d’Escoffier International Monterey Bay Chapter.

Do You Have a Business License?

The American Personal Chef Association strives to ensure that all of its members adhere to the laws of their state and city. Lack of a license to operate a business indicates that a Personal Chef is unprofessional and careless regarding the law. I am fully licensed.

Do you have references?

I come highly recommended by many local residents. References available upon request.
